FRENCH FRIES-POTATO FRIES
It's an very good evening snacks for kids. Rich in vitamin c,B6, copper and manganese. Helps control blood sugar levels. Best energy producing veggie. Resists strokes and heart attacks. Reduces inflammation. Liver cleansing. High in fiber. Low in sodium. High in vitamin A. Prevent kidney stones.
When shopping for potatoes, look for potatoes that are firm and smooth. Avoid potatoes worth wrinkled skins.
Do not store potatoes in the refrigerator. Will cause the potatoes to develop a sweet taste.
STEPS :
1. Wash the potatoes and peel off the skin.
2. Cut the potatoes in the required size. The size of the each slice should be approximately even because the thicker one will take more time to cook but the thinner one will become dark soon
3. Boil the sliced potatoes and cook upto 60 % to 70 %.
4. After that strain the water and wash it in the cold running water to stop the further cooking process.
5. Dry the slices by spreading on the cloth and keep it in the freezer for 2 hours.
6. After 2 to 3 hours deep fry in the oil. You have to do double fry for the crispyness .
7. Finally add some salt and chilli powder.
Now its ready to serve ......
